Adding or Editing a User

To add or edit a user:

1. In the RPM menu, click Options and then click Security.

The Security screen is displayed.

2. On the Security screen, do one of the following:

  • To add a new user, select Add New User.
  • To edit an existing user, select Edit User.

The Add/Edit Users dialogue is displayed.

3. Enter the following details:

Option Description
User Name The name of the user.
User Password The password for the user name.
Security Level Set the security level permission for the user. You can add permission levels as a User or an Administrator.
Change Password Set the change password option to allows the user to set their password the next time they log on.
Effective Date Set the date when the user becomes active to access the RPM application.
Expiry Date Set the date when the user becomes inactive or can no longer access the RPM application.

If the user is a temporary member, then you must set this field, else it can be left blank.

Comments The additional information, if required.

4. Select Save to save the user.

The user is saved in the User List.
