Creating a Job Task

The Create Job menu enables you to create a task and run it manually at any point in time. Once scheduled, the task(s) will run within 15 minutes.

To create a job task:

1. In the RPM menu, click Transfers and then click Create Job.

The Run Transfer Task screen is displayed.

2. Enter the following information.

Option Description
Task Name The name of the job task.
Job Type The type of job to be performed in RPM.
Stores The Stores on which the job type must be executed.
Parameter Name Depending on the job type selected, the parameter name is displayed on the screen.
Parameter Values Set the parameter values for the respective parameter name.

Double-click the respective parameter value row and enter the value.

3. Select Run Transfer Task to run the task.

The new job will be created and will start executing immediately. You can view the job status using Task Log.
