Keyboard Actions

You can edit, view, and reprint scripts using keyboard actions to simplify dispensing workflow. Examples of the keyboard action combinations are given below.

The keyboard actions are:

• To edit a script, in the Patient field type one of the following:
  • E+Script Number
  • E+Serial Number
  • E+Claim Period Number/Serial Number

This opens the Dispense screen with the script open for editing.

Continue editing the script as normal, and once complete select Save.

• To reprint a script, in the Patient field type one of the following:
  • P+Script Number
  • P+Serial Number
  • P+Claim Period Number/Serial Number

• To view a script, in the Patient field type in

• • V+Script Number
  • V+Serial Number
  • V+Claim Period Number/Serial Number

To commence the keyboard actions, press Enter after typing in the command and script number.

For Example,

To edit a script using the script number, E+Script Number – E+123456

To print a script using the serial number, P+Serial Number – P+C1234 or P+UG456

To view a script using a combination of the claim period and serial number, V+Claim Period Number/Serial Number – V+0414/C123 or V+2203/B1

NOTE

The keyboard actions are not case sensitive.
