Prescriber Organiser

In CCD, use the Prescriber Organiser to find and manage information on your prescribers. This section explains how to use these screens.

The Prescriber Organiser workspace displays a full list of all your prescriber records and the Reference space displays all the information about a selected record. Including prescriber number, name, address, contact information, and type.

Use the Prescriber Organiser to:

• Browse the prescribers in your system.
• Perform Prescriber actions such as adding, editing, deactivating/reactivating, and highlighting. These actions can also be performed from the Dispensing screen. However, if you are focusing on prescriber maintenance rather than dispensing it is more efficient to use the Prescriber Organiser.
• Merge Prescriber ’ details.
• Deactivate prescribers.
• Highlight prescribers.

Opening the Prescriber Organiser

To open the Prescriber Organiser, from the menu bar, choose Prescriber → Prescriber Organiser.

All the columns of the prescriber organiser can be sorted by ascending or descending order. To sort a column, click the arrow next to the column name.

Buttons

The table below lists the buttons in the Prescriber Organiser and describes their use.

Button	Description
Actions	Displays the following list of commands for working with Prescriber records.
Deactivate	Deactivates the selected Prescriber so that they do not appear in drop‑down lists and cannot be modified.
Reactivate	Reactivates the selected deactivated Prescriber.
Highlight	Highlights the selected Prescriber in drop‑down lists and the Prescriber Organiser.
Remove Highlighting	Removes highlighting from the selected Prescriber.
Edit	Displays the selected Prescriber’s details so that they can be edited.
Merge	Merges the information of two Prescribers. For details, see Merging Prescribers.
