Creating A New Patient Medication Profile

To create a new patient profile:

1. Choose the patient from the Patient drop-down box.
2. Choose New Profile and Medication from the Type box.
3. Type the date for the foil to start in the Start Date box.
4. Select the type of foil required from the Pack Type box.
5. Select the print frequency for the profile from the Print Freq. box.
6. For Jumbo or Mega foils, select the direction of printing from the Up/Down box.
7. Select the drug prescribed from the Item Presc box.
8. If a substitution was made, select the drug dispensed from the Item Disp box.
9. Type the dosage in the Directions box.
10. Enter the dosage breakdown in the dosage times boxes (i.e. Lunch, Dinner, or whatever labels have been customised to your system).
11. Press Tab until the new drug is displayed in the Drug & Strength box.
12. Repeat steps 7 to 11 to add additional drugs to the profile.
13. Choose Print to print and save the profile.

The short name and description information is automatically inserted from the drug file.
