Printing With Windows 2000

Use the following procedure to set up your printers to for printing foils with PACKMAN running on Windows 2000.

  1. Set the printer emulation to Epson FX. Consult your printer manual for instructions on how to do this.
  2. In the Windows Printer folder, create a printer called Standard Foil.
  3. Select the Standard Foil printer.
  4. Choose Server Properties from the File menu.
  5. Choose Create a Form from the Forms tab.
  6. Type StdFoil in the Form Description box.
  7. In the Measurements section, type the following information into the appropriate boxes.

  9. Select Save Form.
  10. Choose Create a Form from the Forms tab.
  11. Type JmbFoil in the Form Description box.
  12. In the Measurements section, type the following information into the appropriate boxes.

  14. Select Save Form.
  15. Choose Create a Form from the Forms tab.
  16. Type Mega in the Form Description box.
  17. In the Measurements section, type the following information into the appropriate boxes.

  19. Choose OK.
  20. Select the Standard Foil printer in the Windows Printer folder.
  21. Right-click on the printer and select Properties.
  22. Choose Printing Preferences from the General tab.
  23. Choose StdFoil from the Paper Size box under thePaper/Output heading.
  24. Select the Device Settings tab.
  25. Change the Tractor Feed, Manual Paper Feed and Sheet Feeder options to StdFoil.
  26. Choose OK.
  27. Close the Windows Printer folder.
  28. The printers can then be set up in the Workstation Setup. See page 74
