Google Chrome Emergency Update

Google has released another emergency update for their Chrome browser to patch a vulnerability that threat actors are actively exploiting.

This is an emergency update, and Corum recommends that you manually check for an update to your browser. You can check for an update and receive it immediately by going into the Chrome menu > Help > About Google Chrome.

Corum Cyber Defence customers are already protected and will receive the upgrade automatically.

You may recall we have sent you two previous alerts for Chrome already this year. Keeping on top of security vulnerabilities and application patching is key to maintaining good security controls.  With this update, Google has addressed the fourth Chrome zero-day since the start of 2022.

If you are worried about the security of your pharmacy systems and want to know how you can manage vulnerabilities like this automatically, speak to your Customer Success Manager or contact us on 1300 669 865.
