Adding Additional Medications

To add new items to an existing profile:

  1. Choose the patient from the Patient drop-down box.
  2. Right-click on the profile to add the item to and choose Add Medication to Profile.
  3. Select the drug required, either from the Patient History or the Item Presc box.
  4. If necessary, type the dosage in the Directions box.

If you are adding the medication from the patient’s dispensing history, the directions are automatically inserted in the Directions box.

  1. Enter the dosage breakdown in the dosage times boxes (i.e. Lunch, Dinner, or whatever labels have been customised to your system).
  2. Press Tab until the new drug is displayed in the Drug & Strength box.
  3. Add any additional drugs to the profile.
  4. Choose Print to print and save the profile.
