*Urgent* – Windows 10 Crashing While Printing (11/03/21) – SOLVED

To Our Customers: Please read if your PC is crashing when printing (SOLVED)

This issue can affect one or more PC’s running Windows 10 and using Kyocera KX variant drivers – it is caused by recent Windows 10 Security Hotfixes (KB #5000802 / #5000808 ) automatically processed by Microsoft

This issue is NOT caused by Corum Software. 
Windows 10 crashes when printing due to Microsoft March updates
Official Solution (<5 minutes)

1. As of 24/03/21, Windows has released a software update that fixes this problem. Please download and install this software update to fix the blue screen issue and other printing issues related to Windows 10.

Please copy the link below, press “CTRL + T” to open a new tab in your browser, paste the link in the address bar and press enter, and the software update should begin to download. 
NOTE: The first link below is for users on Windows 10 version 2004 or above (most users), if the first link does not work use the second link which is for users of Windows 10 version 1903 or higher.



After selecting the downloaded file and installing the software update, please reboot your PC and afterwards it should be operating as normal.

* Please note: If the above links do not work after you have tried installing them, you may be running a 32-bit operating system. If that is the case, please follow the same steps as above, but using the links below instead (first link is for Windows 10 users 2004 and above – most users, second link is for users of Windows 10 version 1903 or higher): 


TO DETERMINE WHAT VERSION OF WINDOWS 10 YOU ARE USING, YOU CAN PRESS “WINDOWS KEY” + “R”, then type “winver” into the Run box and press Enter.
