Automatic updates to Microsoft Office can sometimes cause database-related dependencies for the Corum LOTS software to become damaged and in need of repair, recently a number of clients have been affected by this issue as automatic updates were pushed out globally.
The issue will result in the LOTS application showing “operating system not configured” error, a red circle OR simply being stuck on the “loading” screen and may affect one or more pc’s in the pharmacy.
- To resolve the issue, simply click the link below which will automatically download the necessary application, then open the file to run the installer and choose “Repair” option as shown in the screenshot below.
Download Microsoft Access Database Engine 2010 Redistributable from Official Microsoft Download Center - If “operating system” error: A reboot is not required, you will be able to open the LOTS application.
- If red dot/stuck on loading: Reboot/restart your pc after the installation is complete and you will be able to access the LOTS application (2 min fix)
NOTE: The link above contains the installer for the 32-bit variant of Microsoft Office Access DB Engine 2010, LOTS is only compatible with this version.
