Setup Screens

PACKMAN has the following setup screens:

  • System Setup
  • Workstation Setup
  • Module Setup

You can select these setup screens from the Options menu.

The parts of the setup screens are the same as the details screens.

System Setup #

The System Setup screen is used to set up options that apply to all the Amfac modules, including:

  • How you move around the program’s screens.
  • Whether text is automatically changed as you type it.
  • The default state for suburb lists.
Workstation Setup #

The Workstation Setup screen is used to set up hardware devices such as printers. These settings apply only to the workstation (i.e. computer) where they are set.
The PACKMAN Workstation Setup screen lets you set printers for each of the following:

  • Foils
  • Signing Sheet
  • Drug Meal Time
  • Labels
  • Reports
Module Setup #

Each Amfac module has a module setup screen. When you choose module setup from the PACKMAN work area, the PACKMAN Setup screen is displayed.

Some examples of things you set up in the PACKMAN Setup screen are:

  • Lookup lists
  • Foil meal headings
  • Pharmacy details
  • Patient profile defaults.
