The Reports menu lets you generate and view the reports of RPM data currently, historically or both for further analysis. You can generate reports on 12 Month History, 12 Week History, Accounts, Auto Specials, Best or Worst Seller, Customers, Exception Pricing Report, GMROI Report, Lay-By Summary, and many more.
The Reports menu provides various options to help you simplify the report generation process. The following report options are available in RPM:
Report Type
Some reports provide an option called Report Type which changes how the report data is aggregated or consolidated.
- Product: This option displays the report based on individual products.
- Sub Department: This option displays the report based on individual Sub Departments.
- Department: This option displays the report based on individual Department.
- Store: This option displays the report based on individual Store.
- Zone: This option displays the report based on individual Zone.
- Consolidate Stores: This option enables you to consolidate each store’s result in to a combined value.
Drill Down
In some Report modules, it is possible to drill down from one report type to another.

If you view a report by Department, you can double-click on the Department which will drill down to view Sub-Department results. You can drill down all the way to Product level. |
Description Like
In some Report modules, there is a filter called Description like. Enter a description of a product to limit results to products which match the text.

If you generate a Sales report and enter the letters ‘Amo’ in the Description Like field, then the report will only list sale items that begin with the letters ‘Amo’. |
Tagged Group
Some reports allow you to filter results by Tagged Group. If you choose to report using a Tagged Group, the report will only display information for products listed in the Tagged Group.
Favourites
The reports have numerous filters and several configurations, hence some of the Report screen allows you to save the filter and configurations as Favourites which can be loaded as required.
You can set the filters and report type and do one of the following:
- To create a new favourite, select New Favourite.
- To save the selection, select Save Favourite.
- To generate the report from the saved favourite, select Load Favourite. A list of all the saved favourites will be displayed; double-click on the favourite you wish to load.
Export
In all the Report modules, there is an option to Export. This option enables you to export the report data without needing to run and view the report. The output can be saved to Comma Separated File (CSV) or Microsoft Excel format.
NOTE
To open and view the Excel file, make sure that you have Microsoft Office installed.
You can set the filters and do one of the following:
- To export to CSV file, select CSV and then select the desired location to save the file.
- To export to Excel file, select Excel and then select the desired location to save the file.
