You can delete a Sub Department even if there are products associated with it. However, when you delete a Sub Department, the Deleting Sub Department screen governs where the products will be placed. It automatically moves the products to a new Sub Department as selected by you.
Todelete a Sub Department:
1. In the RPM menu, select Defaults and then select Department/Sub Department.
2. Select the Sub Department from the left pane.
3. From Department/Sub Department drop-down list, select Delete Dept/Sub Dept.
TIP
You can also choose Delete Dept/Sub Dept by clicking anywhere on the left panel and then right-click.
The Deleting Sub Department dialogue is displayed.
