The Pricing Setup menu enables you to add a pricing policy in the RPM application. It allows you to set the cost discount or surcharges applied to the base price. RPM provides predefined set of pricing policies, you can edit these or set a new policy.
To set up price options:
1. In the RPM menu, click Options and then click Pricing SetUp.
The Pricing Setup screen is displayed with the following columns:
- Pricing Policy Name: The name of the pricing policy.
- Pricing Rule: The predefined rules of the pricing policy.
- Cost Discount (%): The percentage of cost discount.
- Surcharge: The percentage of additional charge or payment.
- Changes Allowed: The charges that are allowed in the pricing policy.
2. Select Add to add a new pricing policy.
3. Enter the Pricing Policy Name.
4. Select the Pricing Rule from the drop-down list.
5. Select Cost Discount(%) to set the discount.
OR
Select Surcharge(%) to set extra charge.
6. Enter the percentage value of Cost discount or Surcharge.
7. Select Save Changes to save the pricing policy.
The policy is added in the Pricing Setup list.
