The Maintenance menu helps you with backing up and restoring the RPM database.
Backing-up the RPM Database
The Backup Database menu lets you create a backup of the RPM database in case of crashes or if data is either corrupt or lost.
To backup the database:
1. In the RPM menu, click Maintenance and then click Database Backup/Restore.
The Database Backup/Restore dialogue is displayed.
2. On the Backup Database tab, verify the server information and modify, if required.
3. Select Backup Database to start the backup process.
The selected RPM database will be backed-up.
