The Price Comparison Report lets you compare the price of Products between various Stores. Different Stores might have different retail price for the same product, comparison helps to find the variation in price.
To generate the price comparison report:
1. In the RPM menu, click Reports and then click Price Comparison.
The Price Comparison screen is displayed.
Select the required filters.
3. Select one of the following Report Type:
- Retail: This option displays the comparison report on retail price of each Stores.
- Average Retail: This option displays the comparison report on average retail of each Stores. It is a cumulative retail value and a good indicator of discounts on the original retail price of the products.
- Last Buy Price: This option displays the last price of the product the Store paid to the Supplier. The comparison between the last buy price of the Stores indicates whether the Stores are paying correct price for the products.
- Average Cost: This option displays the comparison report on the average cost of the product between various Stores. It is beneficial for products that frequently fluctuate in price.
- Markup: This option displays the comparison report on markup. It compares the markup percentage the Stores have set to achieve the retail price of the products.
4. Select the Report Options, either Last Buy Price or Average Cost.
5. Select the other required fields and specify the Date Range.
6. Select View Report to view the report.
The Price Comparison report will be generated.

The fields displayed in the sample report can vary depending on your selection. The items displayed have been described in the table below.
