The Add/Edit Auto Specials option lets you add a New Auto Specials or Rename an existing Auto Specials or Delete the Auto Special.
To add or rename auto specials:
1. In the RPM menu, click Product File Management and then click Auto Specials.
The Auto Specials screen is displayed.
2. Select Add/Edit Auto Specials. The Add/Edit Auto Specials dialogue is displayed.
3. Do one of the following:
- To add a new Auto Special, select New.
- To rename an existing Auto Special, select Rename.
4. Enter the name of the Auto Special and then select OK.
The Add Auto Special Items dialogue is displayed.
5. Enter the following information.

| Auto Specials Name | The unique auto special name. |
| Store Name | The name of the Store you wish to add auto specials. By default, the first Store in the list is selected. NOTE If the Store Group is enabled for pricing, then the Store Group will also be available for selection. |
| Auto Special Start Date | The start date of the auto specials. By default, the current date is selected. |
| Auto Special Last Date | The last date of the auto specials. By default, one month after the current date is selected. |
| Auto Special Retail | The retail for the duration of the auto special. |
| Special Cost | The nett into Store cost of the item for the duration of the promotion if applicable to all items. |
| Max Qty | The maximum quantity of products to be sold at auto special price. Once the maximum quantity been reached, the Product will revert back to its original price. If there is no maximum quantity leave this field blank. |
| Allow Discount | If selected, further discount will be allowed at the time of sale. |
| Pos Message | The POS message for the Product. You may leave this field blank. |
6. Select Continue. The Select Products dialogue is displayed.
7. Select the Product you wish to add. If you wish to add all the products, select All Products. You can also use filters to select the Product.
8. Select OK to add the products to auto specials.
9. On the confirmation message, select Yes.
NOTE
Make sure to confirm the Products, Store, Auto Specials, Start Date, End Date, Special Cost, Maximum Quantity and Allowed Discount.
The new auto special is created and added to the list of Auto Specials in the Product File Management menu.
