To add an Exception Pricing:
1. In the RPM menu, click Product File Management and then click Exception Pricing.
The Exception Pricing screen will be displayed.
2. Select Add/Edit Exception Pricing and then select New.
The New Exception Pricing dialogue is displayed.
3. Enter the new exception pricing name and select OK.
The Add Exception Pricing Items dialogue is displayed.
TIP
If you wish you can add the Exception Pricing Items later, by selecting Add Items from the Exception Pricing screen.
4. Enter the following information.
Field Name | Description |

Exception Pricing Name | The name of the Exception Pricing. |
Zone Name | The Zone to which you wish to add exception pricing items. Select Zone Name and then select the Zone(s) that you wish to add the items to. |
Store Name | The Stores to which you wish to add the exception pricing items. Select Store Name and then select the Store (or multiple Stores) or Store Group (if Enabled for Pricing) that you wish to add the items to. |
Start Date | The start date of the exception pricing. To add a start date, select Start Date and use the drop-down list to choose the date you require. |
End Date | The end date of the exception pricing. To add an end date, select End Date and use the drop-down list to choose the date you require. |
Special Cost | The nett into Store cost of the item for the duration of the promotion, if applicable to all items. |
Max Qty | The maximum quantity of products to be sold at the promotion price. Once this quantity had been reached, the Product will revert back to the RPM stockcard price. If there is no maximum quantity leave this field blank. |
Allow Discount | If selected, further discount will be allowed at the time of sale. |
POS Message | The POS message for the Product. You may leave this field blank. |
5. Select Continue.
The Select Products dialogue is displayed.
6. Use the filters to select the Product(s) and then select OK.
7. On the confirmation message, select Yes.
The exception pricing will be added in the Exception Pricing screen.
