Script Details
The Script details section displays the summarised information and medication details of the scanned script. You can choose to manually enter scripts by selecting the Add Manual Script option. For more information on see Adding Scripts to the Queue from Dispense.
If a script is scanned, all the medication included in the script will be displayed automatically, along with all the related information such as names and strength. Multiple scripts can be scanned into Queue Scripts repeatedly. This section will also automatically update with all information if you are dispensing an own repeat.
If you have opted to manually enter medications in the script the Drug Item field will be empty. You will have to manually enter the drug name and any other identifying information needed for dispensing.
All the drugs that are added are shown as new initially. If you make changes to the drug items once the script has been added to the queue the status will change. For each drug item the following can be specified:
- Generic Brand Reqested
- CMI Requested
- Receipt Requested
- Notes
Notes can be added on a per drug basis for each individual item on the script or for the whole script by using the Notes section or using the text field next to each drug, see below.
The dispensing time for the script is specified using the Script Ready Time list. The default time for the script to be ready is 30 minutes. If you change the default time using the list, the position of the script in the virtual queue will change accordingly.
Additionally, the script can be marked as urgent by selecting the Urgent option, if it is needed to be dispensed immediately.
If the patient wants to collect the script on a specific date and time the Customer Calling Back On option can be used. Use the calender to specify the date and the at field to specify the time of collection.
