When working with passwords, you might see the following error messages.
| Password Error | Description |
|---|---|
| Login failed, x attempts left | The password entered was not correct. You have the specified number of further attempts to enter the correct password. |
| The account is locked | The staff member’s account has been temporarily locked, for example because too many failed login attempts were made in a short period of time. The account will be unlocked automatically once 15 minutes have elapsed. Alternatively, a staff member with user administration permission can unlock the account immediately. See below for further information. |
| Invalid password format | There is a problem with the password you are trying to set.
