The Top Patients report lists your top patients and shows the proportion of activity they contribute to your business. It can also highlight these patients to make it easier to see them in lookup lists and organisers.
To view or print a report on your top patients:
1. From the main menu, choose Reports → Patient Reports.
You can also use All Reports.
The Reports screen is displayed.
2. In the list of patient reports, choose Top Patients.
3. Set the report criteria:
a. Under Script Dates, use From and To to set the date range to report on.
The date range defaults to the last complete month.
b. Under Based On, select how you would like the top patients to be ranked. You can choose from Number of Scripts, Dollar Value, and Gross Profit.
The default is Number of Scripts.
Please note that Gross Profit is calculated using each medication’s nominal list cost at the time of dispensing and is not a true gross profit value.
c. To restrict the report to specific medical institutions, click the + on the Medical Institutions header, then select the required records.
d. To restrict the report to specific prescribers, click the + on the Prescribers header, then select the required records.
e. Under Patient Categories, tick or untick the categories to report on.
f. All patient categories are ticked by default.
g. In Number to Show, specify the number of patients to list.
The default is 25.
h. Tick Highlight these records in lists if you want the patients listed in the report to be highlighted in Patient lookup lists and the Patient Organiser.
If you want all existing patient highlighting to be cleared before doing this, tick the Remove highlighting from all others checkbox. This checkbox is only enabled if you have chosen to highlight records.
4. Choose Preview or Print.
