You can now set special prices for individual drugs that are automatically applied when those drugs are dispensed as safety net (under co‑payment) items.
To set a special safety net price for a drug:
1. Open the Drug Details screen for the drug.
You can do this from the main Dispensing screen and from the Drug Organiser.
2. In the Pricing section.
This tab is only shown for drugs that are PBS‑listed and inexpensive enough that they could be dispensed as safety net (under co‑payment) items.
3. Tick the Special Private Price checkbox.
4. Using the Pricing Basis drop down select either:
- Fixed Final Price
- Special Dispense Price
5. Select Options and, choose when the safety net pricing is to be applied.
6. Type a value into the box below selected price option.
7. Choose OK.
NOTE
The special safety net price must be below the normal safety net price.
