Use the Prescriber Details screen to add new prescribers, and to view or update the details of existing prescribers. Use the Identity and Notes tabs to enter information.
Opening the Prescriber Details Screen
You can open the Prescriber Details screen from:
- The Dispensing screen
- The Prescriber Organiser
- Prescriber menu option
You will probably use the Prescriber Details screen from the Dispensing screen most of the time, as you add and edit doctors during dispensing.
When you want to focus on doctor maintenance rather than dispensing, it is more efficient to work from the Doctor Organiser. Additionally, some doctor maintenance functions such as merging and reactivating are only available in the Doctor Organiser.
