Use the Staff Details screen to add new pharmacists or dispensary technicians, and to view or update their details.
The screen consists of the Identity tab, used to enter identification information about the staff member; and the Notes tab, that is used to enter staff relate notes.
Opening the Pharmacist Details Screen
You can open the Pharmacist Details screen from:
- The Dispensing screen
- The Staff Organiser
- The menu Staff → Add New
Pharmacists are updated relatively infrequently.
You will probably use the Staff Details screen from the Dispensing screen if you need to add a pharmacist or technician while entering a script.
When you want to focus on pharmacist maintenance, it is more efficient to work from the Pharmacist Organiser. Additionally, some maintenance functions such as reactivating are only available in the Pharmacist Organiser.
