Use the Patient Details screen to add new patients, and to view or update the details of existing patients.
Opening the Patient Details Screen
You can open the Patient Details screen from:
- The Dispensing screen
- The Patient Organiser
- Patient menu option
- Various other screens where it is useful to be able to check patients’ details.
You will probably use the Patient Details screen from the Dispensing screen most of the time, as you add and edit patients during dispensing.
When you want to focus on patient maintenance rather than dispensing, it is more efficient to work from the Patient Organiser. Additionally, some patient maintenance functions such as merging and reactivating are only available in the Patient Organiser.
