The Identity tab has the most frequently used information about the drug and the drug specific pricing rules. It consists of the Identity section and the Pricing section.
The Identity section contains all the identifying information about the drug, such as the brand name, generic name, strength, etc. Click each field to learn more information.
Pricing
The Pricing section is used to set up pricing rules related to the drug. Structured Pricing applies pricing rules depending on script type, patient type and friendly society membership level. With structured pricing drug groups, you can extend this to provide conditional private pricing for individual drugs.
For example,
You could use the pricing section to give patients a reduced base price on long term medication, or specify a mark-up amount for the private price of the medication.
