To check or change your ePrescribing options:
1. From the main menu, choose Pharmacy → Pharmacy Settings.
The Settings screen is displayed.
2. Select the eScripts tab.
There are three new options at the bottom of the tab that apply to paperless ePrescriptions.
a. Tick or untick the Enable ePrescribing checkbox to enable or disable ePrescribing, i.e. support for paperless ePrescriptions.
This does not affect dispensing of the older paper‑based eScripts.
b. It is recommended that you leave the Automatically set item receipt flag and date of receipt checkbox ticked, unless you are using the optional Front Counter program to record when scripts are collected.
This option changes how some script details are sent to PBS Online.
c. Under eScript (ETP2) Item View, choose how you would like paperless ePrescriptions displayed in the eScript panel.
When Normal View is selected, paperless ePrescriptions use the same field‑based view as paper‑based eScripts, with additional data.
When Virtual Forms View is selected, paperless ePrescriptions are shown using a virtual prescription form, and where applicable a virtual repeat form. The previous paper‑based eScripts are still shown in Normal View, so this option makes it very easy to see what kind of eScript you’re dispensing.
3. Choose OK to save your settings and return to the main screen.
