To dispense an outside repeat:
1. From the menu bar choose Script → Outside Repeat.
2. Enter details for the script as you would for an original script.
3. In the Repeats field, type the number of times the item was prescribed followed by the number of times it has been previously dispensed, as indicated on the form.
For example,
If you enter 5/2 it implies that the item has been prescribed for a total count of five and has been previously dispensed two times.
4. When you choose the Outside Repeat option Corum Clear Dispense displays additional fields on the Dispense screen. Enter the original script number, original approval number and the last supply date into the Orig Script #, Orig Appr #, and Last Supply fields.
5. Choose Dispense. The script will generate a repeat form and update the available repeats. The items enabled for printing will be sent automatically to the printer.
6. The various edit and print options for the script are displayed on the screen. Choose additional settings (as needed) and continue for the Same Patient, else choose New Patient.
